Biomapas Acquires Pinnaxis to Expand Drug Safety Technology Services

Deal adds 100+ pharmacovigilance technology experts and strengthens capabilities across Veeva, Oracle Argus, and ArisGlobal platforms.

Biomapas, an integrated life sciences services provider, has acquired Pinnaxis, a Noida, India-based global pharmacovigilance technology and consulting company. Pinnaxis specializes in safety system implementation and upgrades, data migration, system integration, validation, reporting and analytics, and managed services.

The acquisition strengthens Biomapas’ drug safety technology capabilities by adding engineering and configuration expertise across major safety platforms, including Veeva Safety Vault, Oracle Argus, and ArisGlobal, as well as established relationships with the safety database providers. Pinnaxis also adds more than 100 technical experts and proprietary tools and accelerators for safety data migration, reporting, and case intake automation.

Pinnaxis will lead Biomapas’ Consulting & Digital business unit, shaping the company’s use of technology and innovation across its services, including greater adoption of automation and AI in routine safety work. The acquisition also expands Biomapas’ U.S. presence through Pinnaxis’ established client base and New Jersey office, supporting the group’s plans to grow its North American business.

Nishant Rana, Founder & CEO of Pinnaxis, said, “Joining Biomapas is a major strategic move for Pinnaxis, our team and our clients. We have built a business with deep expertise in safety systems, and becoming part of a broader life sciences platform lets us take that further, reaching clients across Europe and beyond and offering them more than technology alone.”

Xavier Duburcq, CEO of Biomapas, said, “Pinnaxis brings deep expertise in the technology behind drug safety, strengthening our ability to connect specialist services with the systems that support them. Together with our regulatory, safety and clinical teams, we will help clients manage increasingly complex requirements across the product lifecycle, combining scientific expertise with technology.”
